SAFARI DETAILS

​COST OF THE SAFARI: 

• Our 12-day safari is $5,500 per person for 2027

• Plus a $3,000 tax-deductible charitable contribution to "OUR ONE COMMUNITY ", Olmoti Safaris legal entity.

• Total cost is $8,500 per person

• Children under 15 years old are a reduced price of  $3,700, plus the required donation.

WHAT IT INCLUDES:

• Accommodations at the Tanganyika Wilderness Camps and Lodges for 12 days 

• Two animal drives per day, early morning and evening (most days)

• All meals and beverages, including beer and wine. Hard alcohol which will be billed on consumption.  

• All ground transportation including drives and transfers within Tanzania on arrival and departure days.  On early arrival dates and late departure dates, guests are responsible for their own transportation which can be provided by their individually booked hotel.

• Air flights to and from the Serengeti

• Kibu Professional Guides

• Park fees and taxes

• Private Land Rover safari vehicle for 4 -6  travelers (groups of 3 or less might drive with others)​​​

WHAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Flight to and From Kilimanjaro Airport 

• Tips to lodge staff, Kibo guides and optional hot-air balloon guides

  • ​Recommended tipping is $10/room per day given at desk at end of hotel stay

  • $20/day per person to your Kibo guide ($200/person total to guide)

  • Individual bag tipping at airports to porters

  • We recommend bringing single US dollars, fives, tens and twenties. Larger bills are easier to carry for the guide tipping so a couple hundreds are nice.

WHEN TO BOOK:

• Private safaris are available for for 4 or more travelers and any date can be accommodated

• Safaris are available June - September

HOW TO RESERVE:

• A $1000 per person non-refundable deposit is required to a hold the reservation, due at time of booking

• The remaining $2000 per person donation is due April 1, 2027

• The  safari fee of $5500 is also due April 1, 2027. 

• You will receive a letter from Our One Community for your tax write-off of $3000 per person

• Please let us know specific dates you would like for your group, otherwise we will recommend dates 

• To reserve a Serengeti balloon ride (additional $550), please inform us at time of booking your reservation and we will make those arrangements for you (Payment will be taken by balloon company during on-site sign ups)
